July 20 – New regulations regarding West Virginia’s Pregnant Workers’ Fairness Act go into effect.

On July 20, 2016, new regulations issued by West Virginia’s Human Rights Commission regarding the state’s Pregnant Workers’ Fairness Act go effect. The regulations establish definitions to be used in applying the Act as well as identifying some common reasonable accommodations that can be extended to pregnant employees.
