Summary

Relates to the rights of crime victims; provides that upon first contact with the victim, the victims family, or the victims dependents, a peace officer from the law enforcement agency investigating the criminal offense or delinquent act against the victim shall determine whether the victim has access to the internet and whether the victim would prefer to access the victims rights pamphlet online or if the victim requires a paper copy.

Civil Action For An Emergency Responder

Summary

Relates to assault or menacing committed or directed against, and targeting, an emergency service responder, family member, or co-worker and the offense of unlawfully impeding public passage of an emergency service responder; prohibits certain sex offenders and child-victim offenders from engaging in a specified volunteer capacity involving direct work with, or supervision or disciplinary power over, minors; relates to the offense of voyeurism; relates to firearms qualification for correctional officers.
