Relates to compensation for certain paratransit workers during periods of commercial vehicle travel restrictions; provides that for each hour of time worked during a commercial vehicle travel restriction for inclement weather issued by the Commissioner of Transportation, the New Jersey Transit Corporation shall ensure that eligible personnel are paid wages at a rate of not less than a specified percent of the individual’s regular hourly wage.

Certain Protections for Temporary Laborers

Provides that when a temporary help service firm agrees to send a person to work as a temporary laborer in a designated classification placement, the firm shall provide the laborer a written statement, in English and in the employee’s primary language, containing certain information; provides that the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development, in consultation with the Office of the New Americans, shall develop and implement a multilingual outreach program to inform temporary laborers of their rights.
