House Bill 2717 (2023)

Summary

Provides that the State or a political subdivision shall establish a program to provide public safety employees who are exposed to any one of the specified events while in the course of duty up to a specified number of visits of licensed counseling, which may be provided through telehealth, paid for by the employer, including but not limited to visually or audibly witnessing the death or maiming or visually or audibly witnessing the immediate aftermath of such a death or maiming of one or more human beings.
