March 28 – Gov. Walker signed a law permitting youth 15 year old and older to work as lifeguards
On March 28, 2018, Governor Walker signed Assembly Bill 326. The law makes a change to the state’s child labor laws that permits youth 15 years or age and older to work as lifeguard as long as the youth completes required training and an adult is present on the premises where the youth is working.
The new law becomes effective on March 30, 2018.
