Kentucky Employment Law Updates – 2018

April
April 2 – Gov. Bevin signed a law extending military leave and reemployment rights for National Guard members
On April 2, 2018, Governor Ducey signed House Bill 291. The new law clarifies that state military leave and reemployment rights for National Guard members are available to employees who are members of the National Guards of other states, not just Kentucky.
The new law becomes effective on July 13, 2018.
