October 1 – Montana Department of Labor & Industry announces there will be no 2016 minimum wage increase

October 1, 2015, the Montana Department of Labor & Industry announced that the state minimum wage rate with not increase in 2016. It will continue to be $8.05. The Department of Labor & Industry is required to annually adjust the minimum wage if there is an increase in the consumer price index in the prior year. It determined that there was no increase in the consumer price index during the relevant period.
