NJ: Minimum Wage Increases
January 1 All day
According to the NJ Deportment of Labor & Workforce Development, beginning on January 1, 2023, New Jersey’s minimum wage will increase as follows:
- 6 or more employees – $14.13
- 5 or fewer employees or seasonal employees – $12.93
- Agricultural employees: $12.01
- Long-term care facility direct care employees: $17.13
Beginning on January 1, 2023, the minimum wage for tipped employees will be $5.26.
