FL: Expires – restrictions on COVID-19 vaccination mandates and other COVID-19 protections and limitations

On November 18, 2021, the governor signed a law that provided that a private employer may not impose a COVID 19 vaccination mandate for any full time, part-time, or contract employee without providing individual exemptions that allow an employee to opt-out of such requirement on the basis of medical reasons, including pregnancy or anticipated pregnancy, religious reasons, COVID 19 immunity, periodic testing, and the use of employer-provided personal protective equipment; provided for exemption statements; provided for face coverings.

The law expires on June 1, 2023.
