CA: Labor and Workforce Development Agency: Extreme Heat

Requires the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, on or before the specified date, to establish an advisory committee to study and evaluate the effects of extreme heat on California’s workers, businesses, and the economy. Requires the committee to meet no less than quarterly, to consider how to define extreme heat in this context, and to make recommendations on how to improve the state’ s identification, tracking, and responses to these effects.
