CA: COVID exposure reporting requirements for certain industries changed

October 5, 2021 All day

Certain employees are required, when giving notice to the local public health agency of a COVID-19 outbreak, to give that notice within 48 hours or one (1) business day, whichever is later. This requirement expands various licensed entities that are exempt from the COVID-19 outbreak reporting requirement to, including, but not limited to, community clinics, adult day health centers, community care facilities, and child daycare facilities. The changes will expire on January 1, 2023.
