CA: Community Care Facilities: Criminal Background Checks

Requires a request for a transfer of a criminal record clearance to be submitted on a form provided by the Department of Social Services or via the department’s secure online portal. Permits the licensee to verify the individual’s identity and removes the requirement for an individual to submit a copy of their driver’s license or other valid government-issued identification along with a request for transfer of a criminal record clearance.
